For general semiconductor devices such as diodes, transistors, metal-oxide semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs), triacs, thyristors, and integrated circuits (ICs), refer to the precautions described in individual technical materials and catalogs, etc., in addition to precautions in the sections 1 to 10 herein.

11.2. Precautions for Counterfeit Products

We have confirmed that counterfeit versions of our semiconductor devices, including our company name and logo design, are being manufactured and sold. Please pay extreme attention not to use such counterfeit products. We therefore strongly urge you to purchase our semiconductor devices from only authorized sales channels.

The counterfeit products neither have quality and performance that meet our product specifications nor have compatible characteristics. In case such counterfeit products are used in your devices or equipment, accidents or failures may occur. Please note that we do not warrant the counterfeit products. We assume no responsibility whatsoever for any and all damages, lost profits, or claims by any third party, resulting from the use of the counterfeit products.
